Women love sex just as much as men do...we've just been raised to pretend we don't. We are supposed to be all about the mystic and propriety.
Ho hum...let me rephrase that. We love it as much but in a different way. Ok, so I can't technically speak for women as a whole, and I'm not a therapist, annnd I've never had any real heart to heart's with women about this subject, (yup..Crazy Lady Advice!) but from everything I've read, and from personal perspective, what society calls sex is defined (for women that is) as intimacy. Intimacy is the big picture that sex is piece of. And, intimacy only happens with someone they truly feel love for.True intimacy involves it all~the touch of holding hands, the kiss on the forehead, the caress with a flare only a lover can achieve. Sex for women is everything leading up to and surrounding the actual physical act, as well as the physical act itself, BUT that's not all.
The ultimate intimacy I imagine is defined when you are miles apart physically or worlds away emotionally, yet there is no one else you would rather be with or who's touch you crave. There is no one else you would rather hear laugh, or see smile or hold near. And women, I believe, want that...that thing...that dream...Too much to ask? If men ever decide to spend enough time pursuing this adventure...they will surely find a true treasure, and realize, yeah...it's alll about sex...just in a different way...
